This multiverse layout was built to stimulate the grandkids imagination and allow them to immerse themselves in this model world. The 350-ft mainline transverses an E-shaped layout design and there are two branch line peninsulas. The layout also features a connecting railroad between the two main sections. Overall, the layout occupies a 17 x 25’ space in the train room. Scenery is almost 50% complete but is always changing. The C&NW is the primary user of this railroad but BN has trackage rights. In a twist of fate this model world, the Milwaukee and Rock Island survived as branchlines and operate as desired.
