Dixon, Missouri
I am currently serving as the MCoR Secretary, and have been active in the Mid Continent Region for many years and was proud to receive my Master Model Railroader certificate in 2010. I have been an active modeler since receiving my first Tyco train set at the age of five. Although I am a fan of many Midwestern railroads the Frisco has always been the railroad I have chosen to model. Early on I modeled the 2nd generation diesel era, however uponwatching the numerous runs of the 1522 I decided to back date to the early 1940s. I reside with my wife and son in the central Missouri community of Dixon. Currently, I am employed by the US Army Corps of Engineers where I have been fortunate enough to be certified as a Department of Defense railroad track inspector. Were among other duties I have inspected the replacement of seven railroad bridges. I have enjoyed the time I have spent as the South Central Missouri area director and feel there is a lot more I can give to the region. I worked intently on development of the regional meet in Jefferson City June 2015. I have made many clinic presentations including regional meets. I believe the region should be active in recruiting new members as well as introducing the public to the hobby. I feel that the opportunity to serve as President as a great honor and not one to be taken lightly. If elected I will do my best to humbly serve the MCOR membership in the tradition of past presidents and to help promote the World's Greatest Hobby.
