501 West First Street. The station was saved and converted into a commercial building. Amtrak still uses the location for boarding Amtrak’s California Zephyr trains #5 and #6.
Hastings Museum
The largest municipal museum between Chicago and Denver is a multifaceted educational museum covering the natural and cultural history of Hastings and central Nebraska. The Tri-City Model Railroaders currently have their HO-scale modular layout on exhibit on the 2nd floor of the museum. Located to the east of the museum is UP 2-8-0 steam locomotive #237 and caboose owned by the city of Hastings. Click here for more information
