Trails and Rails Museum
An outdoor cultural museum of central Nebraska. Hours 10 am to 6 pm, admission $10. UP 2-8-0 steam locomotive #481 and caboose displayed along the former Shelton UP restored Depot. Click here for more information
Train Watching
Kearney is one of the busiest locations along the UP Transcon mainlines. Home to triple track mainlines that split just east of Kearney to travel to Chicago or Kansas City. More than 100 trains per day pass through Kearney.
